Wall Diamondback Rattlesnake
The Diamondback Rattlesnake is found in many American Indian healing and fertility rituals. It is connected with lightning, the male organ, speed, and being able to move undetected. The snake is usually depicted with his tongue extended. It is also considered a hunter, and in some emergence stories is "first helper", although his nature is usually more ominous. The snake symbolizes life, death, rebirth, defiance and wisdom. The art piece is created from natural stones and stained glass mounted on a cement block wall.
